But I don’t speak Spanish…

So… Pablo’s family speaks Spanish, Robert’s family speaks English. Some people on either side can speak the other language, but let’s be honest, that’s mostly Spanish people who can speak English and not the other way around! However, when it comes to the speeches, we are going to attempt a real-time translation service. For this, you will need a mobile phone (to connect to the on-site wifi) and a set of headphones that you can connect to your phone. We will set up an audio-only Zoom call or similar and then everyone can listen in to the English/Spanish translation of what is being said. Can it work? It should do. Will it work? Who knows! Essentially everyone is very friendly and, if in doubt, everyone understands hand-gestures! (On that note, it should be pointed out that the ‘extended index and pinky finger’ gesture commonly used by rock music fans while shouting ‘Rock on!’ means ‘Your wife is cheating on you’ in Spain, so maybe avoid that?!)
